The Brigade started in Marakissa in 2013 with 10 girls and 25 boys. The first Captain was John Mendy being replaced in 2015 by the current Captain Pierre Sanyang (pictured above).

There is now almost 100 members in total and they usually meet on Saturdays and Sundays. They try to go away camping (no tents) once a year and have fun, games and parades. They also spend time sharing God’s Word.

They have no uniforms and no funding which is why our first project is the brigades poultry farm business so that they can raise money for themselves.
